Frequently asked questions:
When can I start carrying my baby?
Marsupi is perfect for the first six months, you can use it from birth (3.5kg/8lbs) up to 15kg/33lbs.
For pre-term, low birthweight babies and children with medical conditions, seek advice from a health professional before using this product.
Is marsupi suitable for 6 months and up?
Although marsupi is ideal for the first 6 months, it can still be used later on, up to 15 kg. Once your baby outgrows the carrier you can additionally support the legs of a toddler by passing the straps under the child’s knees.
Being so compact and light, it can be a life saver on a longer trip or hike when your little one gets tired and need a little break.
What way should my baby face?
Your baby should face you, tummy to tummy. We do not recommend wearing your baby facing outwards, with the back to its parents, as it is no longer ergonomic and does not support the hips as well.
How is Marsupi sized?
Marsupi sizes are based on the wearer's measurements, not the babie's.
If deciding between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller one.
S/M - waists between 65-100 cm/ 25,5-39,5 in
L - waists between 75-105 cm/ 29,5-41,5 in
XL - waists between 85-120 cm/ 33,5-47 in
XXL - waists between 105-135 cm/ 41-53 in - only available in Grey
Warranty & Safety
We offer a 12-month warranty for the fabrics and craftsmanship.

Fit belt tightly around waist. Allow the carrier’s body to hang down in front of you. Place baby on your chest.

Pull body of the carrier up between baby’s legs. Secure the baby with one hand and put one shoulder strap over your shoulder.

Switch hands. Reach for the shoulder strap. Pull it diagonally across your back and attach it firmly to body of the carrier.

Adjust the shoulder straps. Make sure the carrier does not tilt to one side. Tip: Check in a mirror. The baby should sit in M-position (legs spread, knees bent and level with bellybutton).

With very young or sleeping children without proper head control, use the snap-fastened head-support.
Safe from birth
Front carry

Fit belt tightly around your waist. Place baby on your hip. The body of the carrier is between your baby’s legs.

Bring the shoulder strap round to your front and attach it firmly to the carrier.

Adjust the shoulder straps. Make sure the carrier does not tilt to one side. Tip: Check in a mirror. The baby should sit in M-position (legs spread, knees bent and level with bellybutton).

This position is recommended to be used with babies older than 4 months, or once the little one can sit on his own.
4 months o. and up
Side carry
Dos and don'ts:

Make sure the carrier hangs like an apron when putting it on. It should sit on your waist, on top of your hips, with the “marsupi” logo showing.

When worn correctly, the waistband sits between you and your baby. Wearing it like this will be more comfortable, as it better distributes the weight.

When taking off the carrier, pull on the straps upwards from the end. This is easier, quieter and prevents the wear and tear of the hook and loop.
Do

When the waist band is put on incorrectly, the “marsupi” logo will be on the inside and the composition and care label will be showing.

When worn incorrectly, the waistband will sit underneath your baby. This will offer less support and is less comfortable as using it the recommended way.

When taking off the carrier, don’t pull the straps from the side. It is less safe and might lead to premature wear of the hook and loop.

Tips:
01.
For newborns and smaller babies, adjust the width of the base with the sizing band.
Marsupi’s base should rest under the babies knees.
02.
Marsupi’s waist band should rest on your hips.
Usually a good way to make sure if you’ve put Marsupi on high enough is to check if you can easily give your little one a kiss on the head.
03.
Once they outgrow the Marsupi’s base, you can pull the straps underneath the little one’s knees to elongate the width and offer them more comfort
04.
When opening, if your baby is a light sleeper, make sure to open the hook and loop slowly. You can also lay down the baby together with the carrier.
Caring for Marsupi:
01.
Remove stains with a damp cloth rather than washing your Marsupi too often.

03.
You can wash Marsupi by hand or soft machine cycle, using water no hotter than 40˚C (100˚F).
